Stress and anxiety will rob you of happiness and health.

By understanding both biological and environmental factors that impact your stress, you will better be able to handle life challenges.

I can equip you with multiple ways to deal with these emotions and ways to keep them from overtaking you. You will develop a toolbox to combat and prevent anxiety and stress from holding you back.

Sadness and depressed feelings are both normal reactions to some of the many challenges we are faced with in life. At times these feelings can feel overwhelming and dark. When these feelings linger a bit too long and you start to feel lack of motivation, helplessness and even hopelessness, it may be more than just day to day emotions.

You deserve to feel better and I am so happy you are taking the important first step by exploring therapy. I am here to help so you do not have to do this alone.

We can work together to uncover how the depression started, what keeps it around, and how to get relief from the pain that it causes. We will make an individual plan for you and walk you through the process.
Who you are as a person includes your cultural, racial, class, sexual, and gender identities. A therapist should be someone who you can trust who will understand where you are coming from in your life. The areas that you want to improve in your life may have everything or nothing to do with how you identify, but you should not have to educate your therapist regarding who you are and how you live. Mandala Wellness is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for each and every person in our community.

Relationships can be complicated, but they can also be a place for fulfillment and joy.

They do not have to involve constant struggle, conflict, or disappointment; they can grow into fulfilling connections. Often communication skills are at the heart of relationship issues.

Whether the relationship you want to work on is with a romantic partner, ex-partner you need to co-parent with, other family member, friend, or colleague it is important to know your strengths as well as areas that you may need to improve.

Our approach allows you not only to improve communication skills but to heal from past hurts, break maladaptive patterns, and create the relationships you want.
How you see yourself impacts every area of your life.

A negative view of yourself colors how you feel, what you believe that you can accomplish, and how you relate to others.

Do you struggle with feelings of worthiness or feeling “good enough”? Do you feel like you have to hustle for everything and still feel like you’re not enjoying life? Do you ever feel like an impostor?

I can help you in discovering the deeper origins of your feelings so you can stop the hustle.

My approach is to help combine both insight-oriented work along with actionable steps that you can incorporate into your daily life.
Whether you have experienced acute, chronic, or complex trauma, they can all have long lasting impact on multiple aspects of your overall wellness.

Trauma can disrupt our natural equilibrium, putting us into a state where we feel powerless.

I work in a trauma-informed manner realizing the widespread impact of trauma. I understand the paths for recovery, recognize the symptoms of trauma, and respond by fully integrating knowledge so that we actively resist any re-traumatization and promote positive healthy outcomes.

I use evidence based interventions to work with you so you can restore a sense of safety and control back into your life.
Life transitions are usually life changing events that cause us to re-examine our present sense of being.

Adjusting can be difficult, as even positive life transitions tend to cause various levels of stress.

Over the course of a lifetime, a person can expect to experience a significant amount of change. Some of these life passages, such as graduating from school, marriages, births, and new jobs, are generally positive, although they may be accompanied by their own unique stressors and often underlining feelings of shame.

Other major life transitions, such as entering or re-entering the workforce, moving, retirement, divorce, or entering the “empty nest” phase of life may cause a significant amount of stress. Moments like these in our lives can be disorienting and uncomfortable.

It takes time to adjust to what life brings, but meaningfully processing what’s going on, gaining insight, and learning new strategies to manage all that life throws at you will help during periods of transitions to develop resilience and inner strength.
Are you a therapist, helping professional, or graduate student who wants to support your clients and patients with courage, compassion, and connection but feel like something may be holding you back? Or do you just need a place that is all about you, where you can be real, vulnerable, and dig deeper.

Have you done your own personal work (or maybe years of it), but you feel like you’re not fully showing up in your personal and/or professional life with clients?

I enjoy helping therapists make these huge shifts. You will have a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for your own deep work through traditional talk therapy, mindfulness, and/or other self-exploration techniques including shame resilience and vulnerability.

We can work together to unpack what you are experiencing. Our work together can help you source your foundation from the inside out creating expansiveness in your personal and professional life.
Clinical supervision is a place to develop the social worker’s professional judgement, clinical knowledge and skills, including critical self-reflection, all of which are essential for social workers providing clinical services. Clinical supervision also helps broaden the social worker’s understanding of and adherence to the profession’s values code of ethics, and standards of practice.

When you decide to work towards your clinical license it would be an understatement to say it can be life altering. Getting your hours, developing your clinical skills, increasing your theoretical knowledge, and finding how you bring your personality into your work takes a huge commitment and a lot of perseverance.
